THE ALFA ROMEO
CONNECTION

If there has been one Marque that has been a constant inspiration to Paul Ellender and Rallyist.Co then that has to be Alfa Romeo.
Following his season racing the Vauxhall Chevette for DP Racing the team changed it's format focusing it's resources to the developement of an Alfa Sud 1300Ti.
And this inspiration continues to this day as the marque falls as a subject many times with in the art portfolio. From Gabrielli Tarquini's BTCC winning 155 through to the breath taking Martini-Brabham BT45 Formula One car of the late 70's.

TH'ALFA RACING
TH'ALFA RACING was formed in Partnership with David Harding at the close of the 1979 production saloon racing season to campaign the BRSCC & BARC Production Saloon car Championships 1980. At the end of this season however David left the team.
The team later competed in the Donnigton Production GT championships 81/82.
Sadly the The Old Super Sud expired competing in a Tarmac Stage Rally 1987 crashing very heavily in Scotland.
